Due to the full thread screw connections can be produced which can stand high bearing loads.
The screw is produced either with
a cheese head or a countersunk milling pocket head. It can be hardened,
galvanized and yellow or blue passivated.
A plastic slide coating reduces the screw-in torque, so that less power is needed for the handling.
Since drilling and screwing can be done in one work
step you are capable with the ASSY plus VG to produce screw connections
in a time and cost saving way which were up to now difficult to handle.
Self-tapping tip
Significantly reduces the
tendency of wood splitting, eliminates pre-drilling requirements
reduced edge distances are permissible.
Fully threaded
High withdrawal resistance. High load bearing capacity.
Hardened steel
High tensile strength.
Plastic slip-coated
Reduced screw-in torque.
Countersunk head with
milling pockets
The countersunk head ensures proper scew-head bearing in steel-to-wood connections.
Cylindrical head
Reduced tendency to split
compared to countersunk head. The screw can be installed
concealed/hidden in the wood by driving it into the wood.
